FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Visitors to the Fort Wayne Zoo this past weekend may have been exposed to measles.
The Allen County Health Department says people who were at the zoo between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday could be at risk. One case of measles has been confirmed so far in Allen County, and Adams County has two cases.
People who have not been vaccinated need to monitor themselves for symptoms, including a fever over 101 degrees, a sore throat, small white spots in their mouth, coughing, red and watery eyes, a runny nose, and a rash.
