INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Hospital Association says most of the state’s COVID-19 hospitalizations are from unvaccinated individuals.
Officials say they make up 98% of hospitalizations since January. They added that COVID hospitalizations have increased by 288% since July 4th.
The association says the state’s rate is approaching 50%of the peak of the pandemic the state faced in November.
The IHA urges all eligible Hoosiers to get vaccinated against the virus to protect themselves and save hospital beds.
