INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s abortion ban is overcoming a legal hurdle after the state’s highest court found it constitutional.
An Indiana Supreme Court ruling Friday overturned a county judge’s ruling that said the ban violated privacy protections in the state’s constitution.
That ruling had allowed abortions to continue in the Hoosier state since September.
The ban still faces another court challenge over claims it violates a religious freedom law enacted in 2015.
