INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – There were two tornadoes in central Indiana on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service yesterday confirmed tornadoes did indeed touchdown in Rush and Madison counties.
Both were EF-1 tornadoes with top winds of no more than 100 miles per hour. Forecasters say the Madison County tornado was only on the ground for about a half-mile.
They say the Rush County tornado was on the ground for nearly 10 miles. No one was hurt in either tornado, though there was some damage from each.
