INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana lawmakers are looking to end the state’s coronavirus emergency order at the end of the month.
The legislature has a one-day special session scheduled for next Monday to vote on the emergency order. Governor Holcomb first put the order in place in March of last year and has extended it ever since.
Last week the governor offered to work with lawmakers to roll back most of the order. The governor wants to keep pieces of the order in place to continue to grab more matching money from Washington, D.C.
