INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A court is giving Indiana the green light to end the enhanced federal unemployment benefits.
Last week, the state’s Court of Appeals unanimously overturned an Indianapolis judge who blocked the state from ending the program back in June.
The new ruling means the extra $300 a week from the federal government will end on September 4th.
There are some Democrats at the Capitol in Indianapolis who want to extend that out as they say it’d be cruel to end the extra benefits right now.
