Indiana University bringing back Hoosier the Bison mascot

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana University is bringing back a mascot from decades ago.

A student group chose “Hoosier the Bison” as the mascot for the Bloomington campus. That mascot was retired in 1969.

Indiana University Athletics announced Tuesday that Hoosier the bison will be back representing the school in the fall.
