INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Courtesy notices are being issued for drivers not reducing their speed in construction zones. INDOT says over 2,800 notices were sent to drivers in January.
Those drivers were traveling 11 miles per hour or more over the posted speed limit, which was 45 miles per hour.
INDOT will not start issuing fines for violations until an official date for enforcement is set.
