INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – So, you didn’t win the Mega Millions recently. There is still a chance though strike it rich. The largest state jackpot in the U.S. is in Indiana, according to Hoosier Lottery.
The Hoosier Lotto jackpot has reached an estimated $27.5 million ahead of the next drawing on Saturday, Aug. 12. The Powerball is nothing to sneeze t either.
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday is currently at an estimated $194 million.

The Hoosier Lotto® jackpot has reached $27.5 million for the Saturday, Aug. 12, drawing. The jackpot currently ranks as the largest state lottery jackpot and the second-largest domestic jackpot, behind only Powerball® which is sold in 45 states as well as Washington D.C, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Players can purchase a $2 Hoosier Lotto ticket at any participating retailer. Players also can add +PLUS for $1 for a chance to win $1 million or other prizes in a second drawing that occurs immediately after the Hoosier Lotto drawing.
The largest Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Nov. 7, 2007, and was worth an estimated $54.5 million. The last Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Sept. 7, 2022, and was worth an estimated $19.5 million. The winning ticket was purchased at Ridgeway #5 in Munster.
The winning Hoosier Lotto numbers for Wednesday, Aug. 9 are: 8-9-13-16-38-44. Players can check their tickets with the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App by downloading here.
