INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A former Indiana Attorney General who temporarily lost his law license is running for governor of Indiana.
62-year-old Curtis Hill announced his bid for the role on Monday, adding his name to a list of several other Republicans already running, including Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and U.S. Senator Mike Braun.
Hill was elected as the state’s attorney general in 2016 but was accused of groping four women during a party in 2018.
The Indiana Supreme Court suspended his law license for 30 days after finding evidence he committed the criminal act of battery.
Hill lost his 2020 re-election effort and an attempt to fill Congresswoman Jackie Walorski’s seat after her death last year.
