FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City says that work to improve drainage and protect neighborhoods along Aboite Center Road continues this week with stormwater pipe installation that will require lane restrictions.
Work got underway Monday on Aboite Center between Coventry Lane and Winterfield Run will be one lane in each direction while crews install the pipe.
During construction, the two westbound lanes of Aboite Center will be closed, and one lane in each direction will be in the two lanes on the south side of the road. The work is aimed at protecting homes from flooding and is expected to take about three weeks.
