INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Colts still control their playoff destiny, but will need to win to get in. Indianapolis lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 23-20 yesterday, blowing a chance to seal up a playoff spot with a victory.
The Colts are not done, however. If they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars next week, Indianapolis will make the playoffs. Indianapolis is 9-7 on the season, Jacksonville is 2-14.
Five teams are vying for the final three playoff spots heading into Week 18 of the NFL season. In the AFC, the Colts, Chargers, and Raiders are all trying to snag one of the final two spots. The Bolts visit Las Vegas on Sunday Night Football to wrap up the regular season, while Indy travels to face Jacksonville.
With the Eagles clinching a playoff berth yesterday, the final NFC spot is down to San Francisco and New Orleans. The 49ers will visit the Rams to end the season this Sunday, while the Saints are at Atlanta.
