INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Most of Indiana’s largest medical groups are hoping lawmakers don’t place new limits on coronavirus vaccine mandates in the state.
Some Indiana lawmakers are looking to stop businesses and schools in Indiana from requiring people to be vaccinated. They have a special session scheduled next week to vote on the plan.
The medical groups worry that without vaccine mandates more people could catch the virus, and more people could get seriously ill.
Indiana House Majority Leader Matt Lehman says the plan before lawmakers strengthen people’s right to choose.
